Construction Celebration at Skills Village Awards 2019

Scarborough Construction Skills Village held its first awards ceremony on Friday 18th October. The event was a huge success where we celebrated our learners, apprentices, achievements and thanked our partners.
Held on-site, in a dedicated marquee, guests got to learn all about construction and the Skill Village whilst enjoying a hog roast and some non-alcoholic drinks! Guests even had a chance to try their hand at using a 360 Excavator on our very own Tenstar Plant Simulator based on-site.
The main show was hosted by Nick Taylor and we welcomed the following guest speakers on stage:

However, the most important individuals of the event were our winners who have worked very hard to achieve their career goals – well done!

Top of The Ladder Award won by Lewis Watherston
Breaking Through the Wall won by Josh Walker
Corner Return won by Jack Townsend
Nailed It won by Finley Ward
Ground Breaking won by Tyler McMahon

We would also like to extend our congratulations to all our learners and apprentices who everyday are working towards their construction career goals.
