I have worked with Construction Skills Village on a few occasions. Firstly, on an Apprenticeship in Joinery for my staff and then further training for me to undertake my management qualification. I think all the assessors we have worked with, have adapted their teaching styles to suit the student and been very knowledgeable in their respective trades. Overall, it has been a very pleasant experience.

Being an apprentice with Scarborough Skills Village is enjoyable because it offers a unique blend of hands-on experience and professional development. You get the opportunity to learn from skilled mentors in a supportive environment, which helps build your confidence and expertise.
Being a ground worker, you get to do something new every day, no day is the same, get the opportunity to get plant tickets. I have learnt load about concrete from how to lay it right up to how to finish it, I’ve also had the opportunity to gain 3 plant tickets.
I enjoy being an apprentice because I get to learn a hands-on trade with a qualification at the end whilst earning money as well.
