Construction Skills Village is launching two new construction apprenticeships in September, Electrical Installations and Domestic Plumbing.
The two new apprenticeships compliment the established programmes: Groundworks, Bricklaying, Joinery and Plastering.
Electrical apprentices will learn how to install, maintain and repair electrical systems in industrial, commercial and domestic environments and safe working practices.
Plumbing and heating learners will be taught how to plan, select, install, service, commission and maintain all aspects of plumbing and heating systems.
There is also a Drylining apprenticeship beginning in January 2022. The drylining learners will be part of a fast-growing sector, learning new-build refurbishment, including the construction of partitions, walls and ceilings for renovating hotels, schools, football stadiums, hospitals and more.
