Aim of the course

This training course builds awareness and develops asbestos knowledge amongst site-based employees, educating to the hazards and risks posed by asbestos containing materials (ACMs) within their everyday working environment. It also offers an overview of the legislative measures in place to safeguard workers.

Who Attends?

If you work on buildings built or refurbished before the year 2000, Asbestos might be present there. If this is the case then you and your employees have a legal requirement to carry outAsbestos Awareness Training in order to help you avoid the risks and comply with Regulation 10 of the Control of AsbestosRegulations 2012.

Delivery Method

• Classroom based tutorials
• Discussions and group exercises
• Supporting videos and commentary
• TEST: Multiple-choice theory test
