Construction Skills Village To Receive Extra Funding

£400,000 of funding has been approved to expand the Construction Skills Village in Scarborough.  The borough council’s cabinet made the decision on Tuesday 17 July with the view of extending the site at Eastfield. On-site training boost to ease skills shortages

A £22m boost for on-site construction training was officially launched on Monday 18th August 2018 in the latest attempt to ease the industry’s skills shortages.
