Scarborough Borough Council in partnership with Bridlington Town Council, Scarborough Jobmatch, Northern Regeneration’s Construction Skills Village and CITB are here to support construction companies in Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington.
There is a significant volume of construction work to be undertaken in the area (up to 15 million over the next 5 years), however it is recognised that there are potential job and skill shortages that may hinder the completion of this work. Therefore, we want to find out whether local construction businesses are experiencing skill shortages or difficulties in filling vacancies.
